Last term the Level 3 year 13 History students travelled to Northland with Mr Arrowsmith, Ms Apelu and Ms Gemmel to research and study the history and heritage of the area. Our journey started at Ruapekapeka, then onto Waitangi, Russell, Pompallier House and ending finally in Kerikeri. We found it a rewarding experience and learnt a lot from the trip.

History Rocks Indeed! You were very fortunate to have a trip like that Year 13. It really brings history alive when you stand in the very place events took place AND it looks like your teachers were doing a great job of talking you through it too. Good luck with NCEA - you should fly through after this experience.
